Review: The idea of ââa classic director Kenneth Branagh, how to make a superhero film might initially seem strange, but in the case of Thor ultimately very suitable, because the comic always used Shakespeare drama and archaic language to tell the story of the God of Thunder, political conflicts / family in the kingdom Asgard and its interaction with the universe of Marvel Comics. And Branaghs competent leadership, excellent performance and rugged scenery to make Thor a lot of fun movie.I had honestly always preferred the character of Thor in small doses or as part of a whole, as if the Avengers and the strip was in its reinterpretation The Ultimates modern. So, I did not have high expectations on a movie exclusively focused like that, but Chris Hemsworth brings a brilliant performance in that role, because he could combine the pompous and classical opera Thor with the dynamic and unstable modern Thor perfect. I do not know how the fans purists era Kirby / Lee will have that mash-ups, but I think it's a very good decision, especially since Thor works not only as the source of the superhero, but also as an effective preamble to the highly anticipated film The Avengers, a film point of universe. For example of Marvel unification will, we also have the character of Agent Coulson conducting scientific research of the shield with his usual acumen and efficiency, we also have a cameo of my favorite Avengers (although without the traditional uniform), and a post-credits scene in which there are some concepts that we're definitely going to see in the future movie. Anyway ... would not be fair just to Thor as a large trailer for The Avengers more. As I said before, it is a very funny film, with several positive elements, such as Branaghs efficient direction in which the film floats on a perfect rhythm. As for the cast, in addition to the previously mentioned Hemsworth, I think the rest of the cast is also worthy of applause, starting by Natalie Portman, who can express his emotions perfectly characters. I also liked the work of the rd Stellan Skarsg;? His participation is relatively short and it would seem, were it not for the dramatic weight this actor brings to the character with his mere presence irrelevant. And Kat Dennings is quite funny and believable as the relief. As comics for the scenario, it is very well written, the only thing I can say is that a couple of pitfalls that a little 'forced. As for the action scenes, I found them well shot, with the exception of a couple of close-ups excessive that makes them so confused, I think it's the only thing I can say to Branaghs direction. In conclusion, I took a very pleasant surprise with Thor, and I can recommend it as a great re-invention of a superhero difficult to manage. It would not be a great movie, but it definitely made me a good time.
