Review: The Green Mile is one of my favorite books of Stephen King and have read several times. I am eagerly awaiting the release of the film, but I worry that the emotional impact of the book may be reproduced on the screen. Fortunately, this extraordinary story has been adapted by Frank Darabont, who did a great job, leaving Reyes Shawshank Redemption on the screen. He makes the same high quality of work with the Green Mile. Faithful to the book of history, but the loss of details that were not important to the story anyway. The casting is excellent - every actor is perfect for their roles and doing a great job, but I would emphasize Doug Hutchinson. His image is disgusting Percy right on the mark and has difficulty in this character that I found in the book. Length about three hours and it seems that critics complain that. I can not understand the complaints. The film never drags and never boring, and certainly does not feel like three hours. The length is necessary to tell the story of how it should be told, and the story is so exciting. Best of all, Darabont and the actors bring so much excited the screen, I cried like a baby in some scenes. The Green Mile pursue you.
